@grumpy4n6 @C0redump I'm pretty sure that either Freakonomics radio or Hidden Brain did an entire podcast episode about this and mentioned how it can apply in relationships. It perfectly describes why I stayed with my wasband so long. It also explains why people stick with something that is simply not working for them.
