Melt ICE in Orange County · Mobilize

Join Citizen Action of New York and partners on April 12 at 12:45 PM for a rally calling on Orange County Executive Steve Neuhaus to end the county jail's contract with ICE will be out this afternoon. Location is Goshen Village Green; start time is 1 p.m. We came together as a community to oppose a new detention center in Chester and we showed what we can do when we join our voices. The detention of our neighbors in the Orange County jail is no more acceptable to us than a new detention center would be. We will join forces with New York Dignity Not Detention, Citizen Action of NY, Rural & Migrant Ministry, Mid Hudson Valley DSA, Lower Hudson Valley DSA, Fuerza Newburgh, For the Many, Indivisible Newburgh, Proyecto Faro, and the Rockland Coalition to End the New Jim Crow.
