E-TARD The LifeCasterWell today I got my Google Pixel 9a phone😁.
So now I can retire my old Asus ZenFone Z5 but only after I remove the bullshit OS that came with the Pixel 9a and install GrapheneOS😎
I like the phone but I don't like Google.
So that night installing GrapheneOS was easy after I went through hell in trying to get Chromium with Web-USB on my Non-Main PC running kubuntu v24.04.4 LTS.
After an Hr of trying I gave up & moved onto trying to get Chrome on the system but that also was a bitch but not as hard as Chromium🙄
After I was done with Chrome I used TimeShift to make it like evil chrome was never on my system.
I hate Chrome & Chromium.

Blue Jean@ETARD_The_LifeCaster I generally use fastboot adb and a USB cable. It's quick and easy. Never did try the web installer.

Yeah I have flashed that way as well but it's been a long long time from the last time I did it.
So I like the web-installer way, it just sucks that one has to have Chrome or Chromium installed on the PC to do it as Firefox does not support Web-USB because they feel it is a security risk & I can see it being a risk.

@Blujean As far as I know it does work on brave. I'm so not a fan of brave.
@ETARD_The_LifeCaster yeah? Why not? Thing I don't like is they are trying to get you with brave rewards and sell you VPN. Thankfully it doesn't nag. Vanadium on the phone is quite nice it even randomizes browser fingerprinting, pretty sure brave just doesn't show any fingerprint.

Also I do not trust blindly.

@ETARD_The_LifeCaster I feel that, especially the AI craze. With browsers tho, I find brave works great for my use case, vanadium too. What is it about brave that makes your Spidey sense tingle?

I'm sure it would surprise everyone as to what AI I work with the most.

I use AI to learn new stuff & as a sounding board for ideas & I challenge everything the AI comes back with.
I was keeping a score card & it's right most of the time but not always
