Night Music was such a great show. Cool bands, doing hits and deep cuts, and ending with a group jam that often included rare combos like this one with Debbie Harry backing Pere Ubu doing their biggest hit. 🤩

@Defiance I remember seeing Bongwater play on this show. Was always on either after Saturday Night Live or after the late Sunday NBC newscast. It’s fuzzy yo me. Really enjoyed it. Couldn’t believe I was seeing Bongwater on OTA television. Was the first time I saw what they looked like!

@icastico @Unabart Such a great example of this show. So eclectic and raw. Great sound too.

I remember seeing this episode, and the ep with the Pixies, and the one with Sonic Youth doing Sliver Rocket.

It was hard to catch because I couldn't always record it on our VCR and would rarely be up that late, even though I was in college at the time lol.

@Defiance @Unabart

That’s the episode with Diamanda Galas, The Indigo Girls, and Aretha Franklin.

@icastico @Unabart LOL, just insanely eclectic. What really stood out to me at the time. What a cool concept. I actually started enjoying sax thanks for David S too!
