QuasitSome very old-school (or just old) tabletop role-playing gamers might remember "Finieous Fingers", a wonderfully funny comic strip series by J. D. Webster that appeared in relatively early issues of Dragon magazine. I posted a link to it here recently; it's on the internet archive.
But even old gamers might not remember or have ever even SEEN another great comic strip series by JD Webster: "The Good Guys". That appeared in Space Gamer magazine. Unlike Finieous Fingers, that one was never released as a collection of strips as far as I know. It was a parody of Star Wars, and I remember it with great fondness.
I figured that I would never get to read it again unless I came up with a lot of money to spend and was able to buy a complete run of The Space Gamer. That would be a rare find at best, and probably quite expensive!
But it turns out that there are complete collections of The Space Gamer in PDF format on the internet archive. So I have just downloaded them all and I'm going to go through them one by one to create my own collection of "The Good Guys".
Once I do, I'm going to post that collection to the internet archive. And I will post a link to it here.
