None Hitwonder@samvarma @ITOmarHernandez it just struck me that at the end of the day, the weird A.I. boosters that claim it's taking the gatekeeping out of the arts are people who gatekept themselves with the internalized belief that only certain people are allowed to make art in the first place.
Alison Wilder@samvarma there's definitely something to be said for people who have put in the time and effort to be great at an instrument, obviously, but it's so awful that there are actually people that are scared to play because they're not good enough.
Music really is for everyone. Audience can be part of it, but it can be as rewarding to get together with people you know and play/sing music for each other and with each other. Bring back the parlor piano, I say!
