I wish people would knock it off with the "history will remember you poorly" offensive.

No sociopath who's filthy rich and powerful cares if some scholar 100 years from now says something unflattering about them. Go after these people in the here and now.

@ChrisJagged totally agree! and would also add that it cuts both ways, future AND past.
Like say, when every chocolate bar you can buy come from children working on cacao plantations in Africa, focusing on the statues of slavers from 200 years ago look a lot like a decoy so that business can go on as usual. But that's just my opinion
