I guess I'm probably glad I don't follow much games journalism anymore. I was looking for info on the new Life is Strange and the reaction i saw was negative (although I don't 100% love it so far and it has some problems, I'm enjoying it). Double Exposure seems to also have been not very well regarded but for me it was one of my favorite experiences in the medium last year.

I think, maybe, for me its vibes first these days. The vibes are what i want and it doesn't bother me so far at least that there are problems, glaring as they might be. But I'm here for small town gays have supernatural adventures. The first game in the series is simultaneously excruciating and cringe while being one of my favorite games of all time due to it sort of kicking off what ultimately led me years later to my coming out.

I don't know. These are the thoughts i tend to have about games. But I don't usually mention them. People do like to get angry if your feelings are contrary to theirs on the internet.

Anyway, I unequivocally love the life is strange series games that follow Max and Chloe ( as well as true colors ). Even if they are uneven and don't always make the best choices. They are basically just vibe simulators or what could have been. I feel like they connect me a little bit to what i never knew i wished for or that i wished to be when i was a teen in the 90s. #LifeIsStrange
