@disorderlyf different camera technology, the artemis 2 took a photo of the dark side of the earth which is why you can see cities lit up and the aurora
@ratsprite I suspected part of it was the literal day/night comparison, but I was scared that assumption was wrong.
@disorderlyf yep you're good with that assumption! the reflected moonlight containing less blue, not being as intense and all that other good stuff is making the clouds look a lot dirtier
