Absolutely not. iPhones and iPads and Macs and Apple Watches and AirPods and HomePods and Vision Pro and tons of other products are all computers.

@marcoarment thanks, that's a valuable clarification. some folks argue that an iPhone isn't a computer due to limitations, so (apart from different views on that) it's helpful to know that that point isn't what you have in mind here 👍

Those folks should consider that 20-30 years ago, getting a computer with the same compute power and screen resolution as a modern smartphone would have needed hundreds of thousands of dollars, and a large room to house it in.

@marcoarment If you can’t install software on it, it’s not a computer.

The AirPods don’t count: they contain a computer for their own use, but they are not a computer for the user.
