In that sense it’s fine if masto is small. It’s ok if a chat room doesn’t have every single person on the planet in it! It’s ok for a group chat to not have 10k people

The Fediversum has a huge appeal of unifying the world, as in its kind of Meta-Browser that allows to view and interact from one space with so many other places in the online world

I really like the calm atmosphere and the positive freak people here

I just miss here entire subgroups and Fandoms and RL events/organizations, these people have all abandoned their accounts here

I don't feel like it's dying, but there is churn, so it can feel that way if you aren't looking for new people to follow.
