@skinnylatte when i was pretty young (i guess i was 8 or so) someone i knew had an apartment on the hudson river (jersey side) and i Loved looking at new york from the windows at night, i would turn the lights off and watch it for a while sometimes. this reminds me of that

@skinnylatte I always love the aesthetics of a perfectly regular grid system colliding with pre-existing features. Something about the way that you can try to build a nice orderly structure all you want, but the messiness and complexity of the real world will always break through somewhere, really speaks to me
