The Pope says that God does not justify war. That is good. Maybe he should issue a papal edict to all followers to resign from military forces.

God also does not justify dungeons to chain and whip people, horses to rip human bodies into four pieces, and hot tongs to apply to their breasts, to convert them to catholicism.

Send the pope to Ireland, Mexico, Nigeria and dozens and dozens of other countrie the carflic Church invaded and repressed its people and subjugated them and threatened them with horrific punishment.
The pope may be an ok carflic, as far as they go, but preaching peace is way out of his scope. He is representing the source of systemic child sex abuses, the heaven for paedophile, the protection of men who have raped and pillaged for hundreds and hundreds of years. He can fuckaway too

@purrperl It's funny how we've been warned by Christians and just about all the other religious traditions about listening to channeled spirits.

There is also a good secular book called The Siren Call of Hungry Ghosts where an investigator found out the hard way, they are evil.

And yet the Old Testament prophets were somehow exempt from the general condemnation of spiritism, even when they were channeling calls for genocide.

If it's evil now it was evil then.

The pope sits behind bullet-proof glass, atop a pile of gold looted violently from all over the world, through colonization & genocide, in a private city state, in the middle of a European capital, professes poverty, wears a dress & tells people being gay is bad, and puts on a show of washing poor people's feet, while claiming moral high ground.
