Trump says Iran is 'easy' compared to fixing college sports

President Donald Trump says questions about the war in Iran are “easy” compared to efforts to better regulate college sports. It was an extraordinary suggestion that even he himself seemed to think better of a short time later. It came Friday after he spent more than an hour discussing compensation for college athletes. Afterward, he said he knows college sports may sound less important than the war in Iran — but he said it was a very important issue to him. Trump urged Congress to pass the SCORE Act, which seeks to regulate college sports but which critics call a giveaway to the NCAA. He also said he'd write an executive order on the issue.

@Yehuda and WTF is wrong with so many ordinary Americans who just GO ON LIKE THIS ISN'T INSANE? The disconnect is mind-boggling. But I guess if you've been watching the world - I mean the actual world, planet earth - changing in these huge and fundamental ways, for YEARS, because of our pathological consumption, and managed to ignore it... that really does set you up to ignore reality totally and absolutely. (when I say "you" I don't mean YOU I mean everyone we've been screaming at to wake up for the last 50 years)
