So, kinda weird follow up to my “um, the American military structure is crumbling” post, but y’all, can I say here that in the war to win hearts and minds, the Iranian propaganda is the best I’ve ever seen, and I’ve studied #propaganda.

This one, The Genocide That Is Not Over, does this astonishingly good job of gathering all the people the US and Israel have harmed, inc the Israelis viewing parties of Palestinian murders, into one display of “Are we the baddies?” The Iranians have a better grasp of our history than many Americans. (I’ll admit this one gave me feels)

what is extraordinary about all of the vids is the sheer number of comments supporting Iran, and hoping the US loses.

Hands down, Iran is showing why Donald shouldn’t have listened to Kushner and Bibi. (A kushner post is coming, hoo boi, is he special.)

@MissConstrue Did you see this interview with the video makers?

This part stood out to me, comparing them to America's nihilistic snuff porn propaganda:

'the team hopes that their videos can inspire viewers with “a glimpse into a different kind of spirit—something more poetic, more human, maybe a bit more gentle.”’

Kyle Chayka writes that Explosive News’ A.I.-generated videos have been shared by Iranian-government accounts and co-opted by No Kings protesters.

“Last weekend, YouTube and Instagram abruptly took Explosive News’ accounts down.”

Oh silly billionaires, we see you. It’s like they don’t believe the Streisand Effect is a known thing.
