Good question: "After the release of the #Epstein files, why have there been so few arrests?"

Bad answer from the #Trump #DOJ: "There have not been additional prosecutions beyond Epstein and Maxwell because there has not been credible evidence that their activities extended to Epstein's network."

This is a bad question promoted to cover for the real question everyone with a grain of brain must have asked already:

Why has the FBI been collecting crime reports and victims’ statements since 1996, only to then simply toss them into the deepest cellar? Were all those interviews and 302 reports intended solely to gag the victims?

Edit:
The 18 U.S.C. § 1512 "Tampering with a witness, victim, or an informant" law _allegedly_ was being used against victims trying to contact the press. I can not find a report I am sure I saw. So the question opeen is __why__ no victim still __can__ not say the names, nor their lawyers can.

@ohir @petersuber what does the paragraph say?

@petersuber
The law is about "Tampering with a witness, victim, or an informant" – I've been told it was being used against victims trying to contact the press. But I did not do a due dilligence on that, my fault. So I need to wait for explanation, because report I've seen can not be found at a reputable uri anymore.

Will edit post, thank you @zonico for poking me.
