I'm not saying we didn't enjoy spending time with the kids when they were younger, but they are infinitely more fun now they can read and play cards against humanity (family edition) with us. And other games which require reading too.

I feel like we've unlocked a new level of parenting. Does anyone have any recommendations of other card games we can get them into?

We'll try Fluxx next I think!

@RhiannonV What ages? Both my five and nine year olds like to play *Crazy Eights*, *Egyptian War*, and *Knockout Whist* with a traditional deck of cards. The older kid is also a fan of *Unlock! Kids* and *Uno: No Mercy*.

@trevorld thanks for the recommendations - I'll check them out! Our kids are 8, 6 and 4.

We're going on a few camping trips this year, so it'll be good to have several different games we can play with a standard deck of cards.

Our eldest is also really enjoying Monopoly deal at the moment, which is really fun too. It's sometimes a bit too cut throat for the 6 year old though, and she holds a grudge for a long time 😅
