The idiots who push for usage of LLM bullshit SHOULD be allowed to wade fully and unmitigated into full consequences of their idiocy.
If anything else, for our entertainment.
We can NOT protect people who are absolutely, comprehensively, wantonly, *devotedly* oblivious to the consequences of their actions from harm.
This is a fact, and we can wrap them all we want with bubble wrap, but the moment you make something idiot proof, here comes a better idiot.
It's a lesson from ~3 decades of working infosec AND ~decade or more of real-world mil sec.
They have been warned. Countless times.They don't care, and they WILL drag us all to hell.
@lauren that's a very narrow, and apologetic of apathy pov, because it removes responsibility from users. If your use of something CAN harm others, you should be mindful of it
By that principle, of never blaming users, we should abolish drivers licenses. You can harm people with your digital presence, too, just as with political presence, or with a vehicle, etc etc.
Nothing is neutral. Responsibility is always there
