Running Check Disk on the hard drive now.
Amazing thing about this computer is that it sold in 2009 with 8GB memory (upgrade-able to 16GB), 750GB storage and a quad core AMD processor.
Granted, the all of those are much slower than what is selling new today, but the capacities are similar. We have brand new computers selling now in 2026 at Best Buy and Walmart with 8GB memory.
There are 17 years in between when this HP computer was produced and now.
