I have spent the day working on the architecture of my future IoT plattform. It is my first hypothesis so things will change.
This is archimate. The oval icon is used for capability-ish and the other symbol is the actual planned product to supply the capability.
I plan to use this to make the most out of our solar plant with batteries. The AI is intended to forecast PV production based on weather forecast. Combined with the price forecast I can chose to buy or sell at best price.
The same architecture can be used for other needs as well.
I plan to implement most everything in Erlang or Elixir. A lot is already in place but I had to think the time series data base through and decided to go for a standard product.
