Anyone in my followers from #Manitoba? Familiar with #Winnipeg?

A family member has to urgently travel to Winnipeg and wants a hotel/motel near-ish St. Boniface Hospital (409 Tache Ave, Winnipeg MB R2H 2A6). WIth parking. Cleanliness is important. Cost can vary. Can be a chain or independent.

No AIrBNBs - this must go smoothly.

Any recommendations? Any cautions?

@lastrobot Inn at the Forks is very nice but unless you get a deal it'll be the most expensive. Avoid the Norwood.

I'd recommend the Fort Garry. It's higher end pricing but it's a good distance from the hospital and lovely to stay at.

@wandrecanada @lastrobot Fort Garry would be my recommendation, too. It's a little more expensive but it's the sort of hotel where you don't have to worry about anything.
