I started my #Viki Plus subscription! I’ve already watched 2 episodes of #Kdrama #PhantomLawyer (with Italian subtitles!).

Video quality is very good at 1080p, really similar to Netflix, with no hiccups or issues. Ok!

What disappointed me were the subtitles! I never saw so many mistakes and blunders! Technical mistakes, wrong terms, confusion between masculine and feminine words, and wrong tones in some scenes.
Worst of all: subtitles use a “geometric” sans-serif font that is poorly legible. 😞

@KoreanPassion Wow, must be the Italian version that’s especially problematic because a lot of us especially love the Viki translations, usually including the song lyrics and often adding cultural notes. In terms of the font, I find that subtitles on all of the streamers require modification to be legible, and they all have a different process.

@KoreanPassion they now use AI-translated subs too, which only adds to the issues
