Wish artist and venues would publish RSS feeds of concert schedules.
@robertpi THIS hahaha - and about album release dates - they could do so much with it!
@jake4480
well, mainly I'm just fed up with discovering bands I like are playing near me at the last minute - and there are no tickets left.
@robertpi @jake4480 I keep thinkjng about writing some aggregator for bands/venues. I tried Bands in town, but was such a ball-ache to navigate.
@tom @robertpi ugh. Yeah, I hated Bandsintown, never found that useful. The concept, yeah. But the exection- garbage haha
@jake4480 @robertpi Judging by a lot of band websites, they use the same plug-ins for listing gigs. Feels like it wouldn't be too hard. Apart from the Facebook only ones...
@tom @robertpi right? And now there's so much data from like, Bandcamp, and basically every band is on Instagram - I wish they were all ANYWHERE else haha. At least I'm finding less on Spotify these days, the underground punk and rap (well, a lot of it) want nothing to do with Spotify's bs.
@robertpi RSS feeds, or at least subscribable calendars (ics?).
@robertpi +100 on that request. A lot of them don't have anything resembling an API--but I think that's intentional.
