Gianluca, @Leowyatt88 has made a very easy-to-use, accessible stem separation tool for windows.
One uses CPU, another uses GPU so simply download the version you need.

@FreakyFwoof Do you know the model behind these? Also lol, who actually makes rar files in 2026!
@x0 Thank you! That is exactly what I said. Rar? Really? Rar?
@FreakyFwoof I only ever see those on p2p sites these days and that's due to old scene convention with multipart archives. But being able to create rar files means you have winrar, cursed software that is, installed. If it's too big for a zip most things handle zip64 extensions to make huge zips, and 7z is, at this point, the best archive format I've heard of. Rar might behave slightly better with lots of wav files though.
@x0 I just said he should use 7zip and be done with it, but they were already uploaded this way haha
@FreakyFwoof Oh this is legitimately cool! It's got a ton of different models in it including the BS Roformer ones that are all the rage now and a ton of other specialized ones. I know how to use demucs but not the rest of those. And it supports model fusion? It's like mvsep!
@x0 It really is cool yeah.

I’d hashtag this for more people to find but I don’t know enough to know the right hashtags! Love a shared specific tool.

@FreakyFwoof

@clew What tags would you suggest? I can edit it easily enough.

Im not any kind of musician to know, alas!

Oh, and, more complexity, “quiet” posts don’t get fished for the hashtag pool.

sorry I am not more specific with an answer

@FreakyFwoof

@clew I forgot to publicly set the thing. Hopefully enough boosts will make it go where it needs to anyway.
@FreakyFwoof Oooh good to have those models locally. I've pinged him and asked for date to go at the end of the log entries, would make it much faster to skim through.
@Scott I use Partial Lines addon from Tyler for reading log entries like that. Can't think of a time I've seen date at the end of lines, though yeah, does make for easier reading.
@FreakyFwoof That sounds useful! Where can it get got?
@FreakyFwoof Oh never mind, found it on GitHub
@Scott Oh, well then maybe there's a newer version. Got a link?
@FreakyFwoof Your link is newer anyway. Looks like he bumped the version up but hasn't generated a new release on GitHub. https://github.com/tspivey/partialLines/releases
@FreakyFwoof Either way this is bloody brilliant for reading logs! Thanks!
@Scott It really is. I use it a lot.
@FreakyFwoof Thanks for sharing this, finally something that doesn't use Gradio! Do we have a GitHub repo or anything for this?
@cubic Not sure, he just sent it to me on WhatsApp and the poor chap hasn't found mastodon yet, still trying to rectify that...
@FreakyFwoof I did find a bug where the state of the separate button doesn't change when the process is complete, it just says 'stop' permanently. Pressing it doesn't seem to do anything either.
@cubic @FreakyFwoof Hi! No bug here. If the extraction is successful, the button gets back to separate. I'll see if I can reproduce it and fix it. What version are you using?
@Leowyatt88 @FreakyFwoof Whatever version Andre sent via Dropbox.
@cubic @[email protected] you using the Gpu or the Cpu version?
