It's really weird when I'm outside of Mastodon hearing friends irl talk about "vibe coding" or just AI in general in a completely non-pejorative sense.

Last night I was at a dinner party. One friend was continually asking ChatGTP questions about the topic of conversation.

Another pulled out their phone to show us an AI generated preview of their wedding cake.

I'm tired.

It's clear that AI has already won.

I was sent a video of my niece, who can't walk yet, dancing.

But it's not clear yet what damage will be done.
