@etp It was one of those things that completely slipped my mind until I was getting it all figured out early on and and one song finished and the next was way too loud and I was like, "Oh, right, that's a thing I need to look into!" 😅
@virtualwolf Going to add the plugin to Picard first, because I still have not fixed all my metadata. Then may run the source on the entire music folder.
@etp Nice. Ironically as far as I can tell it was running Picard over my music that caused iTunes to have a fit with its artwork, and so pushed me into this entire endeavour in the first place, heh.
@virtualwolf The plugin kept insisting it could not do the calculation, so I unleashed rsgain on my entire music directory. Seems to be doing just fine.
Took just under 90 minutes to scan ~8600 files, most of which were too loud. Looking forward to enjoying shuffled songs without having to jump up and fiddle.
All I need to do now is remember to run it on new files.
