Brad Rosenheim@JoBlakely As I told my class during a lecture on the Geologic history of the Gulf of Mexico yesterday, this abandonment of the Endangered Species Act allows more exploration for oil, not production of oil. It is utterly stupid and indefensible, and most press outlets are missing that point.
They are eradicating a species for a fuel that is itself almost extinct.

the oil industry owners do not care about the Gulf of Mexico or Louisiana, they just take but they all live somewhere else -- as I would have hoped the world had learned after the BP Oil spill
they don't care if we live or die or if we have a bird in the sky or a fish in the water
the Endangered Species Act is immensely popular among the people, it brought back the Bald Eagle & the Brown Pelican but outsiders do not care
