@SeaFury Well done! There's nothing more painful in thesis writing than pruning a blind alley, or just cutting down a hugely well-researched bit of lit review because actually it is no longer that relevant to your argument.

The examiners would actually prefer a shorter thesis - they don't need proof that you have done tons of work!

@huxley I think mine is going to be on the small size, if they want me to pad it out, I can put the boring stuff back in LOL
@SeaFury don't worry about it, it's the conclusions that matter. Everything else is just telling the story of how you got to the conclusions. As long as the conclusions demonstrate important additions/alterations to the state-of-the-art, and the rest of the thesis supports those conclusions with logical argument, analysis or empirical evidence, then you will be fine.
@huxley Yes, this is what I teach my students about essays. Be critical, be concise, lead the narrative and back it up.
