the fact that you desire to control the lives (8< hours per day) of so many people under you (not to forget control over the customers) makes you an instant villain

if you can't share power equally you are a dictator, all industries should be run by cooperatives, if you are such a good leader you can convince your fellow cooperative members by words and deeds and not by legal and financial coercion

@The_Whore_of_Blahbylon That we went through the whole '80s with movies featuring scrappy underdogs eking out victories over rich white assholes callously, joyously, screwing over the little guy for their pet projects and then started worshipping the megarich in the '90s is a hell of an indictment of US culture.
