Good morning Resistance.

One benefit of having gotten older is the benefit of experience. That's wisdom, when applied correctly. I suspect chat, we both can think of people in our past who were models of maturity, or absolute assclowns. While I do not claim to be wise, I'm definitely older.

Today I am both excited and trepidatious of my upcoming Doctor appointment. By my math, I haven't visited a GP in at least 10+ years, who wasn't working out of an emergency clinic. There is a laundry list of concerns, as you can well imagine.

Tonight I'm watching the Ottawa Senators at 19:00h

I'm now on 5G. It finally showed up in my small town for Virgin Plus. I recall when I was telling people on Facebook to save their money and wait for the actual rollout?

That was 5 years ago.

I asked the CSR if I could keep the old LTE SIM, and she said "sure...it's dead though." I replied "I know that, but see, I have some older smartphones at home that can be used as a secondary device, and some of them complain when you use them without a physical sim." She gave me that "Aha" nod.

I always try to upcycle or reuse devices as long as I can. With RAM/storage prices at a premium right now, we can't dismiss a device out of hand, simply because it's a little older. Just because something's old, doesn't mean it's not still useful.
