Wesley Burr@dlakelan Use a rocker container, maybe? I assume you can run, or do run, Docker? This keeps the dependency tree to a minimum.
You can download decent rocker containers, add Quarto and a few R packages to the build, and then he can run his own JupyterHub with a RStudio front-end. I use this to provide RStudio with Quarto to hundreds of students every term.
