I love how someone brought their plushie of Artemis the cat from Sailor Moon into mission control during the Artemis II mission.
@plasma visited JPL recently and let me tell you, absolutely based nerds
@plasma I love humans. :3 🥰 Edit: especially the nerdy science ones!

@plasma

From: Artemis
Subject: mrroww! :3
Body: meow.

Later, the Windows 10 driven crucial systems of Artemis II have trouble using Outlook. The poor cat plushie's message could not be replied to.

@plasma reminds you the people actually doing the work are humans and not the corporate drones who won't stfu on LinkedIn about how they work 168h weeks (I'm not even exaggerating here; I've actually seen some of them claim they work 24/7)
@plasma ah! Thanks - I had seen the cat but didn't make the connection.
@plasma I've seen that stream for 3 hours and did not notice that lol
@plasma Also I would definitely print an Orion instrument panel somewhere if I had the files!
@f4grx the plush started showing up the day after launch, so I'm sure a lot of people missed it
@plasma It was during the TLI, I think the plush was already there.
@plasma These very human moments are some of my favourite things about the whole mission.
@plasma Every damn one of these people is a hero. Also lovin' the Personal Touch.
@plasma One of the CAPCOMs sitting in front of him yesterday was wearing a Sailor Moon lanyard, so it might have been his.
@beccadax @plasma wait, you see nerdy stuff at nasa and you be assuming it’s all from one person? I have news for you…
@plasma At least they didn't bring in Kyubey!
