More likely, her experience of the whole thing, on which the story pivots, was discounted. The gospels themselves weren't penned, according to carbon dating, until about 200 A.D. (Gregorian calendar), there were zero women involved in any of the various councils that decided what was included for posterity, and as many folks engaged in verification.
@jeffowski OK, so even if the story is accurate, and the resurrection to boot, that the stories have effectively been used primarily as levers to power, bloody wars included, is enough to warrant jumping that ship. I'm not one to begrudge people's faith or beliefs, but subscription to and support of rather blatantly oppressive, warring, raping organizations warrants my full Karen judgement.
