Settled in for an evening of browsing the internet like it's the 90's on NexSTEP OS machine. Searching around to find old http sites still running.
I thought this was quite apt: Tim Berners-Lee's first World Wide Web page, that was hosted on a NeXT Computer.

@Gammitin Unfortunately I don’t have NextSTEP compatible hardware again but I ran Previous (the emulator) some months ago to make sure this collaborative Brazilian blog still works on the original web browser !

@Gammitin My college had a NexSTEP lab when I arrived.

Once I accidentally sent like a 100 page print document to the Next printer, only to find the futuristic thing didn’t appear to have an off switch. 🫢

@Gammitin I remember trying to homework for a C class in that NexSTEP lab, but we'd been given no introduction to Unix, so everything was new. Nearly every attempt at progress resulted in a segmentation fault or a bus error, without any hints at what the problems were. Developer tooling is so much better now!
