Anti-static bag;
SCP: The Musical.

@_thegeoff @HighlandLawyer Secure. Contain. Protect.

(SCP is a collaborative fiction wiki centered around anomalous artifacts.)

@varx @HighlandLawyer Ah, but there's no such thing as the anti-memetics division.
@varx @HighlandLawyer I mean, I asked cos I was very aware I was viewing it through TOS Star Trek and Alien goggles, so thought I'd ask for breadth. But damn, that's drilling deeper! 🤣😎
But no bad thing from my angle...just how to explain it?!

@_thegeoff @varx
The pun/double meaning of anti-static bag is obvious.

To explain the second to someone unfamiliar with SCP-

SCP refers to a body of SF/horror works about anomalous objects which function outwith known science. Likewise this is a performance which blurs the distinction between mechanical (inanimate) and intentional movement; the performer is unseen & the motions do not disclose an obvious goal or pattern while also not being those of an object acting under an outside force.

@_thegeoff @varx
Thus the performance creates a sense of anticipation simultaneously on the edges of unease and boredom, with unpredictable surges of motion of a predictable type, and no obvious intent. The foil becomes an anomalous object, except for the knowledge that this is a performance by a hidden human. Exactly as would appear in scenes of a musical based on the SCP works.
