When you're trying to do a quick and simple sewing project maybe - just maybe - don't do it in a black and white print fabric that you can't stand to see interrupted by a line of topstitching. Just saying.

This could have been, after pressing, about 15 minutes on the machine.
But no.
Black thread stands out too much against the white parts of the print; white thread is an eyesore on the black parts.
Here I am doing an invisible stitch by hand and hating myself.
They're gonna be so beautiful, I promise myself, so good. In about 2h of hand stitching. Instead of 15 mins on the machine. But it's fine

I'm absolutely overwhelmed by my sewing queue, and my own ambitions, so trying to progress three projects at once, and failing. So here's some photos of my finished Winslows.
