This essay is getting insane Google traffic. It's easy to say that someone used a botnet to flood YouTube or iTunes, but also flooding Google search to direct traffic to an unrelated website? That seems to strain credulity.

I think this is another Xania Monet scenario here. A lot of people like AI content, it seems like. (At least the creator of Xania Monet had the decency to disclose that her character was AI-generated.)

But why is the one related to the other? Isn't it very possible that the music could be pumped, but your article could just be interesting to people?

@jmcrookston Whether the music is being spammed or not, a lot of real people are interested in Eddie Dalton.

A lot of the listens have got to be real. And tbh, this music does check the formula boxes that people like Timbaland and others have forced popular music into for decades.
