There's a wider topic of the level of self surveillance, as well as just master surveillance that he goes on to discuss sprinkled with his various white hat, hacks, demonstrating what the systems expose people to
@GhostOnTheHalfShell @ai6yr @mastodonmigration I think itās not quite correct. The *ability to function as part of a network* is shut off (by forcing repeated takedowns of the wifi connection between WAP and camera) but that is very different from shutting the device off. The latter takes a single event, just like flipping a light switch; de-auth attacks must be sustained/ongoing to achieve the desired result.
