What we witnessed around the country — ICE raids, armored vehicles, masked agents terrorizing families — may feel like a distant storm to some. But for immigrant workers, for day laborers, for our neighbors, it is a looming fear as we have noted an uptick in the presence of ICE sightings and arrests. This moment demands more than watching. It demands that we show up for one another — in person, nonviolently, with courage, with love, and with urgency.
