@macsparky over half of my Apple map queries are for distances between two distant points not including my current location AT ALL.
So far the quickest way I know of ‘fixing’ this is to change the stop for current location. But it has already routed from my current location, which is an unavoidable wait apparently. Also, the 2nd location is often one previously searched but might not show in list of previous searches.
It is a fight every time, I wish I could step around better.
