@heatherhorns_lite like i'd be personally fine being robot legs if i could also have the rest of a vague human shape too, i feel like *just* legs would give me too much dysphoria oddly enough? like i dont need full functionality but at least so i could be maybe a robot skellington at least above the waist

@root @heatherhorns_lite If I remember correctly the protagonist spent a good chunk of the story trapped in a virtual reality where he had the form of a clay-animated donkey unicorn struggling to complete a quest that would keep a rich twerp from somehow merging his mind with Earth's collective unconsciousness, so the book got a little wild.
@root @heatherhorns_lite It's possible I'm conflating a couple books from the same author but they were writing books like that.
