In case you were wondering why Quark somehow looks *off* in the #StarTrekDS9 pilot episode "Emissary" (and in publicity photos taken at the same time ↘️): it's because Armin Shimerman's Ferengi nose wasn't ready in time so he had to wear Max Grodénchik's (Rom). 🧵 1/2

Here's a comparison of Rom's nose (left column), Quark's nose in #StarTrekDS9's "Emissary" (middle column) and Quark's regular nose beginning in "A Man Alone" (right column). Look closely before you reply "I don't see a difference" - those are different nose molds. 2/2

@gaghyogi49 thanks for showing - i had the question in my mind but thought it was just a general flaw in styling which was not corrected.
