On the anniversary of the liberation of Kyiv Oblast, a broken slab from Hostomel airport was installed in central Kyiv.

Russia's invasion arrows are painted on it. A steel stele with every liberating unit's chevron rises between the two halves.

"People who helped the army, supported each other, never lost faith. Who became an army," Ground Forces representative Yevhen Sasko said.
