The Volvo Tundra concept car by Bertone (1979)

Did this become the Citroën BX?

Very futuristic! I'd happily drive an electric version of that today.

My Mimi (grandmother) had a Volvo that was a Bertone Edition that she was very proud of, back in the day. I absolutely loved that car when I was growing up. I used to hand wash it for her in her driveway when I was little.

@Natasha_Jay According to Wikipedia, yup!

"The angular hatchback was designed by Marcello Gandini[7] of Bertone, based on his unused design for the British 1977 Reliant FW11 concept and his 1979 Volvo Tundra concept car."

@Natasha_Jay Your link says it did:

@isocat
It had a lot in common with the Volvo 480 but the rear of the Citroën BX.

Interesting times

@Natasha_Jay It does remind me a bit of my Volvo 480ES and also of my 70's Renault 5. (brown interior and some knobs) Very cool concept car though!
