If you live in the UK, please consider signing the petition to get a public inquiry into the impact of Section 28 on LGBTQ people – the link should be on their website.

This is hugely important. I grew up in the 70's/80's and started to realise I was gay right around the time of section 28. Cue 40 years of internalised homophobia before finally coming out.
