Two First Nations chiefs are calling on Prime Minister Mark Carney to apologize for saying he could "outlast" protesters. Chrissy Isaacs, a Grassy Narrows woman suffering from mercury poisoning, was in Toronto on Monday to demand compensation from the provincial government for mercury contamination in her community.

Avi has a lot of work to do within NDP, first. There's enemies from within who aren't happy he won the leadership & I don't put it past them to sabotage/do crappy stuff behind scenes. I hope he cleans up/out neoliberals from within & leads the party left of center. Public trust lost can be regained, if that happens.

I'm saying that as an anarchist, who has no trust in government. I became an anarchist because of corrupt governments.
I still vote since I'm stuck under the system but we need serious electoral reform.
