Today while on zoom with a client, I addressed my dogs, Jake and Elwood, by name to stop barking after said client laughed and smiled after hearing them barking through my headphones and the zoom background noise reduction. She then clarified their names at which point she shared with me her dogs growing up were also Jake and Elwood.

I'm not too fond of human names on dogs in general, but gotta love Jake and Elwood 😎

On a similar note, we had two rough collies, named Velho and Loitsu (Wizard and Spell in english, literally). After moving to our current house from ~300km away, we learned that in the nearest city there's a border collie pair by the same names. Yep, doesn't happen every day 😄

@Turre I love it! These are also great names. When I met my husband, he already had adopted Buddy who became Elwood for his favorite movie. So we had to complete the blues brothers pair and Jake is “my” dog.
