/2 Before things got this bad I wrote letters, but as a trans person in the bible belt & the fact our neighbour Texas is fighting to put ppl like me on registries, well... If it wasnt for my state & that Im trans, I still would write in.
Protip, Calling them is something they REALLY hate because it eats more time & they can't just copypaste responses. Same for Physical letters. Eats space & requires more work from their staffers.
/3 It will always be a struggle to get ppl on the same page, but we have to try to at least work together where we can & fight the despair. Else we end up like my mom's home country under a true dictatorial regime. America isnt there yet, but we ARE in the midst of governmental ethics and regulatory dismantling and rapid destruction of our health, safety, & environmental programs in addition to our rights and religious freedoms in order to enrich and elevate a certain group of ppl.
