Brilliant
Thank you very much, Stephanie! 🫶🏻
Trippy!
A slight contrast to Bern's otherwise peaceful, charming atmosphere 😎
@suburbanindividual This shot is seriously impressive. It's an incredible mosaic of roofs and textures that takes on an almost graphic feel in black and white. Great work with the contrast.
Thank you very much Tom! I took the picture from a nearby lookout across the river. It was one of the lucky moments where you instantly spot a certain perspective that just fits.
@suburbanindividual I totally understand that feeling! It is amazing how all those rooflines, chimneys, and geometric shapes of the buildings suddenly align into such a cohesive whole. In such a dense thicket of details, finding the perfect vantage point is incredibly satisfying. Huge congratulations on this shot!
Thank you once again 🫶🏻 I am very glad to see that another photo I was unsure about seems to please you and my other fellow followers

Uh ja - das goht ganz, ganz tüüf 💜🫶🏻….
@suburbanindividual Sometimes a monochrome palette makes a scene look less busy, and sometimes…Wow.
Great work!
Thank you very much, Kim. Glad you like this picture 🫶🏻 Colours often set the tone; they already guide our gaze, our imagination and our perception. Monochrome images do that more subtly. They give the observer more space to infuse them with colours, scents and sounds in their imagination. And that often makes them appear even more intense…
@suburbanindividual I looked at this for so long, absolutely fascinating
Thank you so much 🙏🏻 As I mentioned in another comment, I didn’t actually expect this picture to go down so well at first. To me – in my perception – it was more of a stopgap. But that makes me all the happier that it brings you folks such delight 🫶🏻
@suburbanindividual it doesn't look real at first. So much detail
