The state of the space exploration that should really matter, and why we have to rely on enthusiasts (thx @PaulHammond51 @65dBnoise ) for timely updates nowadays 😢 #PerseveranceRover

The bitter truth about NASA today.
@65dBnoise @PaulHammond51 I guess we'll always have Pa... the science gathered

The main reason I keep going with Mars2020 is because of those wonderful people at NASA/JPL who keep producing results and the JSON feeds and image pipelines updating. They've created a showcase for open (space) science. A reminder of what the US has been in the past, in stark contrast to the chainsaw brutality of #technofascism in the present.

No matter how much one wants science to be a-political, it never is. Like everything human, it bends to political power.

@sharponlooker @65dBnoise

I'll keep reporting the progress of the rovers as long as the images, json's and maps are released. I don't have the tools or skill required to so some of the processing / mosaic work that others do, but I do what I can :)

Now, about Paris…
The French have shown the world, many times since the revolution, what it means to have "a republic, if you can keep it". Not that it is perfect, the Republic or the French, but then again, what is? Democracy is a process, not a state.
